Important Dates To Remember: On July 1, 2025, the Washington State Pollution Liability Insurance Agency (PLIA) will complete the transition of its no-cost Heating Oil Insurance Program into the Heating Oil Loan and Grant Program. As of July 31, 2025, PLIA will NO LONGER ACCEPT new heating oil tank leak claims through their existing Heating Oil Insurance Program.

What this means for you: If you are a homeowner registered with PLIA’s Heating Oil Insurance Program, it is imperative that you reach out to us as soon as possible at 206-789-5500 to receive free soil testing for your property at ABSOLUTELY NO COST to you. If not remedied, heating oil contaminated soil can pose serious risks to property values, public health, and regulatory compliance.  Many tanks are leaking now.  NOTE: PLIA insurance is free and someone else may have signed you up without your knowledge when you purchased your home or bought oil. We can confirm your insurance status with one phone call. Our services are generally limited to geographical areas ranging from Everett south to Fife and from Seattle east to Issaquah.

INCENTIVE - Free 50 Gallons of Oil :

As an incentive to PLIA insured customers, during this time of PLIA’s major transition of their Heating Oil Insurance Program, Budget Tank Removal & Environmental Services (an approved PLIA service provider with the State of Washington for over 20 years) is offering a special heating oil tank replacement program for the first 100 customers, including 50 gallons of free oil, for those who wish to stay on oil heat! PLIA insureds/customers may also buy oil from us for $3.00 per gallon.
